As a VoIP Engineer, you will join a team responsible for the design, development, deployment, and operation of our Voice Network, core of our business-critical Call Quality Strategy.

To support our fast growing Customer base, our main focus this year is to scale up our Carrier Stack to maintain our good Call Quality and Security while increasing the capacity, the geo-redundancy and the global footprint.

This position is remote friendly !

Your mission @ Aircall:

  • Design and deploy the future of Aircall’s Carrier Stack within the Voice & Messaging Network team
  • Interact with Carrier Relations Team to interconnect, test and deploy new voice carriers
  • Maintain and improve existing voice network to ensure we reach our Call Quality targets
  • A little more about you:

  • Strong requirements : 
  • Engineer profile with at least 2 to 5 years of experience in VoIP deployment for Carriers
  • You have strong knowledge on VoIP stack (SIP, RTP, TLS)
  • You have strong experience managing SBC stack, ideally in a Cloud distributed ecosystem
  • Nice to have :
  • You are aware of Fraud Detection mechanism and compliance challenges
  • You have basic Network knowledge (IP, BGP, routing, private peering)
  • You have basic Ruby/Python development skills.
  • Human skills :
  • You are a good communicator with your teammates, providers and customers
  • You are open-minded, autonomous and like sharing your ideas.
