Job Description

As a Backend Developer within our team, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing our platform. Your expertise in backend development will be a valuable asset in ensuring the robustness, security, and performance of our application. Here is an overview of the key responsibilities and required skills:

Responsabilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain the backend components of our platform, particularly using PHP and Symfony 7.

  • Implement robust strategies for handling asynchronous tasks.

  • Work closely with frontend team members to ensure seamless integration between different parts of the application, focusing on data exchanges via APIs.

  • Actively participate in the design and implementation of new features, providing technical and strategic contributions to meet specific business needs.

  • Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of the platform’s backend by applying best practices in backend development.

  • Implement rigorous testing to ensure the quality of backend code and actively participate in resolving technical issues.

  • Collaborate closely with the development team to assess the technical feasibility of new features and proposed improvements.roposées.

Preferred Experience

  • At least 10 years of experience in PHP backend development within an e-commerce or marketplace environment.

  • Proficiency in PHP and the Symfony framework.

  • Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.

  • Experience in DevOps and automation (CI/CD) is a plus.

  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

  • Good teamwork and effective communication skills.

Additional skills

  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (specifically VueJS).

  • Experience with a PSP in an e-commerce environment.

  • Experience with web security tools (OWASP, CSRF, etc.).

  • Excellent written and spoken skills in English

IMPORTANT : This role does not require proficiency in French, as all interactions within the team are conducted in ENGLISH.

Recruitment Process

  • 1 phone interview (20 minutes)

  • A 30-minute video or in-person interview with a technical test.

  • 1 in-person interview at the office.
